摘要: The effect of substituents on pi radical reactions para-substituted tetraphenylporphyrins was investigated by cyclic voltammetry in methylene chloride. In all cases electron donating produced a more difficult reduction and an easier oxidation. Plots E1/2 vs. yielded Hammett linear free energy relationships for cation dication formation anion dianion formation. An average reaction constant p=0.07+/-0.01 V obtained. This true containing the central metals VO, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, as well base H2 (p-X)TPP. value p appears not to be directly affected metal oxidation state or overall charge complex.
