摘要: Objective To report our experience of transcatheter closure (TCC) large atrial septal defects (ASDs) in children using the left (LA) disc engagement-disengagement technique (LADEDT). Methods This is a retrospective study comprising 21 diagnosed with secundum ASDs. All them had an attempt at TCC Amplatzer occluder (ASO) LADEDT. They were assessed by clinical examination, ECG and echocardiography before procedure, 24 hours, 6 weeks, months, every 1 year after device closure. Results The median age cohort was 3 years (range 1–12 years). The weight ranged from 5 to 40 kg (median = 12 kg). mean ASD diameter 16.7 ± 4.3 mm. size used 22 mm 15–40 mm). successfully placed superior pulmonary vein (left: 12; right: 4) LA appendage (LAA) 2. In three patients failed we resort balloon assisted (BAT) for successful deployment. number attempts deployment 4 (median 2). Despite appropriate placement, not released one patient because deficient floppy inferior margin. One worsening mitral regurgitation mild moderate grade without further progression till last follow up. There no other major complications during up (6.2 ± 2.4 months) period. Conclusion TCC ASDs small LADEDT predictable, reproducible, relatively simple, safe, effective. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
