摘要: Since the advent of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), resultant decline in mortality rate associated with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection (1) has allowed patients and clinicians to consider other important health issues beyond short-term survival. Included among these is maintenance normal gonadal function, as well ethical practical considerations for those individuals who wish conceive have children. Here, we review pathophysiology treatment abnormalities sexual function some challenges surrounding reproductive HIVinfected men women.
