摘要: Abstract Highly mineralized and acid/alkaline groundwater is critical to the short- or long-term stability of fractured rock masses in geological engineering. Understanding impact water-rock interactions on mechanical properties important but challenging. This study investigated physicochemical between chemical solutions granite fractures which can directly control behaviors masses. Direct shear tests were performed artificial fracture samples immersed with different pHs for 30 150 days. The results show that solution pH = 2 has most significant influence properties, followed by pH = 12 pH = 7. deionized water minimal properties. acid alkaline are sensitive immersion time, whereas neutral not significantly affected time. weakening mechanisms interaction solutions. Dissolution mainly works solutions, competing minerals dissolution precipitation/crystallization occur why have less than
