摘要: A study evaluated whether a coated (C) bacterially-derived, non-intrinsically thermostable, phytase product showed equivalent bioefficacy compared to the uncoated version of same (Phyzyme XP; 6-phytase, EC 3.1.3.26). Male Ross 308 chicks were assigned three dietary treatments each with 6 cage replicates 8 birds The were: Control (NC), NC + 500 U/kg and C-phytase. Except for Ca P, basal corn-soybean meal diet was formulated meet NRC (1994) requirement. Calcium P levels 0.58 0.22%, respectively. Birds weighed on days 0 21, day 21 sacrificed ileal phosphorus digestibility tibia ash determination. Data analysed using GLM procedure SAS. No significant differences observed between two treatments. Supplementation C-phytase increased (P 0.05). Phosphorus significantly improved by 20.6 18.0 percentage units (P<0.05) supplementation, Addition new coating resulted in similar original product.
