摘要: The number of elderly is increasing in the developed part world. With age prevalence many diseases will increase. This promotes high use drugs. Pharmacotherapy can effectively cure, prevent or alleviate conditions and improve quality life but with aging there an increased risk drug-related problems. Older people are often excluded trials, hence we have limited knowledge regarding efficacy pharmacotherapy elderly. Polypharmacy common among elderly, which complicates since risks drug-drug interactions adverse drug effects increased.
