摘要: The Western Mediterranean basin (Fig. 1a) is prone to severe weather events, such as strong winds or heavy precipitation situations, generally enhanced by the surrounding mountain ranges and intense air-sea exchanges. Southeastern France Gulf of Lions (GoL) area are often affected mistral tramontane that offshore channelled accelerated in valleys between Alps, Massif Central Pyrenees 1b). They transport cold continental air over sea induce both momentum heat exchanges at interface. In order evaluate occur Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) Ocean Mixed (OML) during coupling a high-resolution atmospheric model with slab ocean scheme considered. We examined here sensitivity coupled short range simulations various configurations for two past events.
