The Effect of an Infant Care Educational Program on the Stress Level of Primiparous Women

摘要: Background & aim: Women experience various changes in their transition into motherhood and feel stressed while facing new challenges this period. High levels of stress may prevent mothers from realizing maternal role. In study, we aimed to explore the effects training on primiparous mothers. Methods:In quasi-experimental intervention, 100 pregnant women were divided control (n=50) intervention groups Tehran, Iran 2013. The group received routine care, along with planned three sessions. data collection tools included a demographic questionnaire, childbirth information bisectional questionnaire. questionnaire was completed before six twelve weeks postpartum. For analysis, repeated measures ANOVA, Chi-square test, Fisher's exact t-test performed, using SPSS version 16.0. Results: Based findings, no significant difference observed between terms characteristics. However, meaningful reported mean scores two at postpartum (PConclusion: Considering relief, design implementation educational programs for are recommended reduce improve health conditions.
