摘要: The effectiveness of therapeutic interventions in acute stroke trials is traditionally measured with the modified Rankin scale (mRs) and Barthel index (BI). mRs a global disability divided into six steps from total independence to dependence. BI assesses ten basal activities daily living, which eight assess level dependence (bathing, grooming, using stairs, dressing, feeding, toilet use, transfers walking). aim this study was investigate relationship between scores item-scores BI. During period 3 months were collected two multicentre randomised, placebo-controlled lubeluzole (515 519 patients). In each patient we compared grades score on subitems. For both there extensive overlap wide range among patients 4. We also found discrepancies grades. About 40% 1 (able carry out all usual activities) 2 look after own affairs without assistance) not independent at least one activity studies, about 30% needed help or supervision for walking, although they classified as (requiring some but able walk assistance). Investigators use subjective scale, do strictly take account limitations performing specific assessed by BI, assign
