摘要: To investigate whether a systemic workup is useful to assess the primary or secondary nature of brain lymphoma in immunocompetent patients suffering from nodular intracerebral lesions. We retrospectively studied consecutive series 62 non-Hodgkin's and analyzed two parameters: (1) results partial (2) pattern relapse for all who are currently followed up were so until death. The was conducted with chest X-ray blood analysis cases, total body CT scan 31 bone marrow biopsy 30 serum lactate dehydrogenase 29.  Asymptomatic lymphomatous lesions found 9.6% cases (n=6/62). Two nodal lymphomas four extranodal (maxillary sinus, testis, cutaneous osseous). No localization observed during follow-up whom assessed after their initial negative (56/62). In this group, relapses occurred within central nervous system, even those exclusively treated cerebral radiotherapy (29/56). Our indicate that can reveal asymptomatic lymphoma. When suspected diagnosed, including clinical, biological radiological examinations mandatory before assessing disease. Node areas, skin, Waldeyer's ring adjacent structures special interest should be carefully explored.
