摘要: Some additional possibilities for microhardness investigations of polymer materials using a standard Vickers device are discussed. Two new investigation methods have been suggested: determining the impression size under load; obtaining penetration curves. Their advantages and prospects, especially in combination with methods, demonstrated on non-polymer different (plastic elastic) materials. On basis information obtained, some more precise conclusions concerning structure physico-mechanical properties can be drawn. The proposed seem to particularly appropriate studying specific supermolecular structures polymers composite as well processes structural changes affecting predominantly surface layers or amorphous phase, example ageing, chemical physical modification, irradiation, etc.
