摘要: Abstract The effect of Ag 2 CO 3 addition (0–25 wt%) on the Bi 1.6 Pb 0.4 Sr Ca Cu O δ (Bi-2223) precursor powder has been investigated in terms X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, dc electrical resistivity, critical temperature, ac magnetic susceptibility and current density. samples were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method. room temperature diffraction patterns all indicated presence large amount Bi-(2223) phase along with minor Bi-(2212) phase. lattice structure material belongs to orthorhombic unit cell. volume fraction was estimated from intensities phases. sample 5 wt% added shows higher formed (86%). resistivity decreases as wt% increases. Both onset T c (onset) zero ( R = 0) temperatures determined measurements, which remains within range 110–113 ± 1 K 101–106 ± 1 K respectively. Resistivity data agrees measurements. density for 25 wt% doped increased three-times compared un-doped sample.
