摘要: Graphene oxide (GO) has recently captured tremendous attention, but only few functionalized graphene derivatives were used as fillers, and insightful studies dealing with the thermal, mechanical, biological effects of surface functionalization are currently missing in literature. Herein, reduced (rGO), phosphorylated (PGO), trimethylsilylated (SiMe3GO) prepared by post-modification GO. The electrostatic interactions these fillers chitosan afforded colloidal solutions that provide, after water evaporation, transparent flexible chitosan-modified films. All reinforced chitosan–graphene films displayed improved antibacterial (S. aureus, E. coli) properties compared to native Hemolysis, intracellular catalase activity, hemoglobin oxidation also observed for materials. This study shows provides a handle tuning graphene-reinforced nanocomposite customizing their functionalities.
