摘要: A new compact four-port multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) dielectric resonator (DR) antenna is proposed with pattern diversity. The contains four DR elements, the epsilon-shaped and cylindrical. These elements are placed together such that they resonate at same frequency. specific geometry of allows to place them separation which much smaller than operating wavelength. Hence, combination acts as a single DR. This helps in maintaining compactness structure. operates hybrid modes HEM 11δ TM 01δ excited cylindrical respectively. excitation these orthogonal obtaining diversity allowing for multi-directional coverage. provides 15.73% overlapping 10 dB impedance bandwidth variation gain within ranges 4-6 6-6.5 dBi port 1/2 3/4, In addition, high radiation efficiency >93% 97% 3/4. Other parameters required MIMO applications envelope correlation coefficient acceptable limits.
