摘要: PURPOSE To assess the sensitivity of linear measures brain atrophy in diagnosis Alzheimer disease (AD) early stages. METHODS Linear regional frontal (Bifrontal index, interhemispheric fissure width), medial temporal lobe (interuncal distance, minimum thickness lobe), and hippocampal (hippocampal height, width choroid fissure, horn) were made on magnified MR images obtained 46 patients with AD (33 mild severity 13 moderate severity) 31 control subjects. Gaussian modeling was used to compute specificity set at 95%. Discriminant analysis identify independently contributing ability discriminate from RESULTS The measure best discriminating subjects horn. A compound horn, height hippocampus, interuncal distance could 86% sensitivity. Cross validation confirmed usefulness model (81% sensitivity). Measures alone 83% sensitivity; AD, cross produced 87% CONCLUSIONS can be a useful adjunct routine even its
