摘要: In order to comprehensively understand behavioral changes occurring during life course transitions, surveys must be conducted over relatively long periods of time. Indeed, in behavior and attitudes do not take place instantly, at the time transition (the day residential move, when starting a new job, birth child, etc.). At same time, surveying going notable transitions sets very high demands with respect minimizing respondent burden. Typically, individuals will ready dedicate much for these as they are already rather busy adapting their conduct situation. This paper present an innovative survey design combining global positioning system (GPS)-based person tracking qualitative interviews. practice, hand out GPS units respondents, collect extensive data about travel subsequently use this input qualitative, prompted recall Survey participants asked comment on behavior, location choices underlying activity space mobility experiences, both observation period end period. The encompass 6 weeks, beginning shortly after studied transition. main goal research is develop more rigorous understanding individual specifically formation habits, by way analysis transitions.
