Exploring categorical data: interactive mosaic plots

摘要: The paper outlines what we can and should expect of an interactive system for exploratory analysis categorical data. By means the example Mosaic Plots – graphical analogue multivariate contingency tables it is shown how much power a graphic gains when features are added. Together with this article come accompanying HTML scripts where examples available in more detailed form to give user insight into `look & feel' effect graphics. Besides script includes small test version Manet– software developed at Cosada department Augsburg university.
