La salud en Colombia: abriendo el siglo... y la brecha de las inequidades

摘要: This document outlines actual profile of the health situation in Colombia today following two main tendencies: relationship between and living conditions and, its expression social sanitary inequities. For this will analyze three aspects: mortality; disease vulnerability ‐understood as risk getting sick deterioration quality conditions, with ensuing loss or decrease wellbeing‐; some indicators rendering services system. The results indicate that problems country are violent deaths, responsible for highest early mortality, persistence inequities status, access to children, women, young ones ‐specially poorest‐ population rural areas. It also suggests onset Statute 100/93, not only has it deepened inequalities, but generated new unfair regressive disparities. proposes advance over a fundamentally political task collective construction matter public interest, condition necessary re-foundation system, an inclusive equitable perspective.
