摘要: Cultivation of potato fields after planting is shown to be primarily for weed control and only limited benefit the crop itself. Yields have often been reduced by an excessive number postplanting cultivations. The conventional management system using frequent post-planting cultivations has disadvantage increasing spread virus X, encouraging formation stable soil clods in ridges passage implements, susceptibility frost emergence. Moreover, need inter-row cultivation imposes a limitation on spatial arrangement plants field. highly susceptible competition, but comparatively indifferent degree cultivation. If herbicides are replace as method they must effective leave no toxic residue tubers. Suitable herbicides, many them mixtures, found specific local recommendations made. No single herbicide or mixture likely successful under wide range growing conditions problems met practice. implications replacing with being widely investigated so far alternative plant standard use outstanding advantage.
