摘要: A compact and small electric-size aperture directive broadband Luneburg lens antenna is presented. The substrate-integrated based on embedding a Vivaldi source inside parallel-plate waveguide to illuminate operating in X-band. focusing condition of the lens, requiring gradient refractive index, achieved through use complementary nonresonant metamaterial structures. Numerical simulations are performed determine suitable unit cells geometry with respect wave launcher inserted into waveguide. prototype fabricated using standard printed circuit board techniques has been measured an anechoic chamber. electric field distribution system also explored two-dimensional near-field microwave scanning setup. good qualitative agreement observed between experiments. It shown from both far- measurements that proposed planar presents properties.
