摘要: The effect of intravenous paraquat on ovine renal function was examined at four dose schedules. Paraquat caused dependent reduction in glomerular and tubular function, but filtration rate increased a low dose. earliest involved the major energy processes kidney to inhibit sodium reabsorption. There were marked shifts fluid balance which initially responded. As nephrotoxicity progressed homeostatic response failed. is quaternary amine may mimic pharmacological behaviour similar compounds are ganglion blocking agents. causes hyperglycaemia sheep.
