摘要: Lateral distance between two traffic participants is an important context for intelligent transportation systems realizing a collision prediction system. Obtaining lateral requires costly hardware, prohibiting such as pedestrians and/or bicyclists to receive benefits of information securing their safety. In this paper, time-of-arrival (TOA) based bilateration proposed estimating relative using ultra-wideband impulse radio (UWB-IR). Ranging error UWB-IR affecting the estimation accuracy coped with applying low pass filter angular data. Experimental results show that reduced from 8 m 3 when target vehicle and pedestrian less than 15 m, portable system 30 cm ranging accuracy.
