摘要: This study set out to explore Malaysian professionals’ experiences of working with sexually abused children. Although the international literature on professionals’ experiences children is considerable, research sparse. The current sought redress this imbalance by conducting a qualitative study, informed grounded theory approach investigate how working with sexually abused affects lives professionals both professionally and personally; the strategies, including coping used overcome the difficulties associated their work whether any characteristics the Malaysian sociocultural context contributed difficulties they encountered. In depth semi structured interviews were conducted 21 participants representing a range professions, all whom had experience child sexual abuse victims.
