摘要: At 22 GHz, water vapor "kilomaser" emission is reported from the central region of Whirlpool galaxy M51 (NGC 5194). The redshifted spectral features (VLSR ~ 560 km s-1), flaring during most year 2000, originate a spatially unresolved maser spot size 30 mas (1.5 pc), displaced by 250 nucleus. data provide first direct evidence for association an H2O kilomaser with active galactic In early 2001, blueshifted 435 s-1) was also detected. Red- and bracket systemic velocity asymmetrically. Within standard model rotating Keplerian torus, this may suggest presence either highly eccentric circumnuclear cloud or red- "high-velocity" radially extended torus. Most consistent measured position, however, northern part bipolar radio jet. scenario, (weaker) jet receding while associated approaching southern
