Comparative Profiles of Addicted Adult Populations in Rehabilitation and Correctional Services

摘要: For many years, clinicians, especially those working in rehabilitation centers for alcohol and drug users, have been preoccupied with clients presenting dual diagnosis: substance abuse legal problems. Comparative analyses of three groups addicted men, 553 offenders 499 nonoffenders treatment addiction problems 103 inmates were made to ascertain the biopsychosocial profile these persons. Results showed that dual-diagnosis experienced more severe than nonoffending group subjects. Offenders prison social maladjustment treatment, they less by their consumption, motivated change. Implications are discussed.
