摘要: A method for the exploration of hydrocarbons, comprising steps of: obtaining a set seismic signal traces distributed over pre-determined three-dimensional volume earth; dividing into plurality vertically stacked and generally spaced apart horizontal slices; each slices cells having portions at least three located therein; measuring cross-correlation between one pair lying in vertical plane to obtain an in-line value another cross-line value; combining coherency cells; displaying values.
