摘要: A novel biodegradable polyneopentyl polyol (PNP) ester based synthetic basestock that includes a PNP admixed with dicarboxylic acid coupling agent is provided. The ester-coupling mixture blended further minor amounts of single, or of, additional high molecular weight linear branched chain ester. final basestocks are compatible standard lubricant additive packages and miscible gasoline to provide lubricants have improved viscosity characteristics, good low temperature properties, lubricity for 2-stroke engine applications.
