摘要: A comb to be used for holding samples and defining sample lanes in an ultra-thin slab gel vertical electrophoresis is constructed with form tapered or wedged-shaped wells, the narrowest edge of wedge opening into upper gel. In one embodiment, has a wedge-shaped profile along contact provide expanded well at each location. Notches alternating grooves are cut shape teeth which taper orthogonal axes, wells being defined by space between adjacent pair teeth. The enclosure holds formed plates shaped complementary leading space. fits snugly touching extending short distance exposed surface another rectangular profile, varying depth shape.
