摘要: Peer-to-peer technologies have proved to be effective for various bandwidth intensive, large scale applications such as file-transfer. For many years, there has been tremendous interest in academic environments live video streaming another application of P2P. Recently, a number new commercial systems cropped up. These differ from others the type content that they provide and attract users across globe. are proprietary very little is known about their architecture behavior. This study one first its kind analyze performance characteristics P2P applications. In particular, we PPLive SOPCast, two most popular this class. paper, (1) present framework which these single observable point, (2) control traffic probable operation model (3) analysis resource usage, locality stability data distribution.
