摘要: Frictional fusion is ascertained on the gliding planes of a deeply eroded landslide in langtang Himal, Nepal and very well-preserved Kofels, Otztal, Australia. Both occur gneissose rocks exhibit large, low angle (18-30 deg) between coherently displaced masses. The exposed Langtang are covered by continuous sheet rock glass ("hyalomylonite", Scott & Drever, 1953). In Kofels accessible only at top slide. occurrence pumice-like this locality derived from frictional malt squeezed into fractures or blown over surface behind
