摘要: We sampled the abundance, species richness, and composition of adult amphibians in disturbed undisturbed areas within 20 m a seasonal stream 1 year following selective logging Bolivian tropical forest. The area by border ranged from 23 to 30%. Overall, there were no significant differences amphibian or between sites riparian area. However, one toad (Bufo typhonia) was significantly more abundant than areas. All remaining captured frogs their abundance did not differ More during peak dry season months other times year. This study suggests that are important refuge for and, therefore, should be protected forests managed timber. Limited interventions (as much as 23‐30%) impact populations logging. long-term effects on past after need investigated. # 2004 Elsevier B.V. rights reserved.
