摘要: Ischemic heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Western Hemisphere. Despite recent advances medical therapy and surgical percutaneous revascularization, number so-called no option patients is increasing. These are longer candidates for or revascularization but symptomatic despite maximal therapy. A investigational therapeutic strategies have been developed to improve quality life “no-option” patients. These, addition laser myocardial discussed here, include angiogenesis myogenesis approaches, external counterpulsation, as well spinal cord stimulation.
