摘要: The availability of nitrate sensors has enabled integration these instruments into real-time profiling buoys and, when coupled with current meters, allows for calculation fluxes in to and out estuaries. As the United States' estuaries are increasingly experiencing eutrophication [1,2], this technological development is timely. We report on use our buoy system as part NANOOS, Northwest Association Networked Ocean Observing Systems, which Pacific regional association Integrated System (IOOS), directed studies causes hypoxia Hood Canal, a sub-basin Puget Sound.
