Measuring nitrate fluxes to assess estuarine eutrophication

摘要: The availability of nitrate sensors has enabled integration these instruments into real-time profiling buoys and, when coupled with current meters, allows for calculation fluxes in to and out estuaries. As the United States' estuaries are increasingly experiencing eutrophication [1,2], this technological development is timely.
