摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence job stress on sickness absence nurses and determine predictive power Demand-Control-Support (DCS) model, Effort-Reward Imbalance-Over Commitment (ERI-OC) a combination both. Design: A survey conducted measure in sample 527 Belgian nurses, followed by prospective data collection (long-term, short-term, multiple episodes). Findings: Perceptions strain ERI increased odds for longterm (adjusted ratio [OR] = 2.26; 95% confidence interval [CI; 1.27–4.04]) episodes OR 1.64; CI [1.01–2.65]). Iso-strain ERI-OC long-term (OR 1.75; [0.98–3.11]), episode 1.93; [1.14–3.26]), short-term 1.69; [1.03–2.76]) absence. Conclusions: combined model DCS predicts episodes. Clinical Relevance: This has implications human resources management nursing organizations. Nursing administrators are advised monitor balance nurses’ demands efforts. They should recognize importance social support, control, rewards, over commitment order reduce nurses.
