摘要: Passive sampling methodologies were used to conduct a chemical and toxicologic assessment of organic contaminants in the surface waters three geographically distinct agricultural watersheds. A selection current-use agrochemicals persistent pollutants, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, organochlorine pesticides, targeted using polar integrative sampler (POCIS) semipermeable membrane device passive samplers. In addition analysis, Microtox assay for acute toxicity yeast estrogen screen (YES) conducted as potential tools combination with During spring 2004, samplers deployed 29 65 d at Leary Weber Ditch, IN; Morgan Creek, MD; DR2 Drain, WA. Chemical analysis extracts identified predominantly those areas, atrazine, simazine, acetochlor, metolachlor. Other chemicals included deethylatrazine deisopropylatrazine, trifluralin, fluoranthene, pyrene, cis- trans-nonachlor, pentachloroanisole. Screening resulted no acutely toxic samples. POCIS samples screened by YES failed elicit positive estrogenic response.
