摘要: REPEATED cooling of one arm brings about a reduced rise arterial pressure in man and lessened awareness cold pain1. It has been assumed that these modifications response occur at the higher levels nervous system. Conditioned responses linking two different stimuli have, however, reported chronic spinal frogs2, dogs cats, but diminution reflex reactions to single type stimulus—habituation—has rarely examined animals3,4. Yet section offers simple preparation for examination slow changes responses.
