摘要: The flow in a wind tunnel test section must meet high standards to obtain accurate and reliable measurement data. Good quality demands certain degree of spatial uniformity temporal steadiness velocity pressure. In this paper, set six new indices is developed presented that relate aspects the mean field quality. One index quantifies can be used directly as indicator. five other are related different types deviations from spatially uniform flow; skewed angularity (up-flow down-flow, swirl, cross-flow, diverging converging flow). evaluate existing tunnels assess impact design modifications. They also CFD-based tunnels.
