摘要: The importance of both preoperative fusion and the distance-near alignment relationship to results recession lateral recti for correction exodeviation was studied. Satisfactory achieved after this procedure in 78% patients with constant 80% intermittent exodeviation. In each status, initial overcorrection up 20 prism diopters gave highest percentage good (constant patients, 88%; intermittent, 89%). Fifty-six percent satisfactorily realigned 69% remained over an average follow-up interval five years. If convergence insufficiency present, satisfactory realignments noted at eight weeks could be maintained thereafter 40% patients. Where there no insufficiency, were 64% "high" 68% "normal" ratios.
