摘要: By ion exchanging expandable clay minerals with large, cationic oxyaluminum polymers, "pil- lars" were introduced that permanently prop open the layers. On basis of thermal, infrared spec- troscopic, adsorption, and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis, interlayering commercial so- dium bentonite aluminum chlorohydroxide, lAI1304(OH)24(HzO)12) +7, polymers appears to have produced an expanded a surface area 200-300 m2/g. The pillared product contained both Br6nsted Lewis acid sites. XRD differential scanning calorimetry measurements indicated micropore structure this interlayered is stable 540~ Between 540 ~ 760~ day collapsed corresponding decrease in (to 55 m2/g) catalytic cracking activity for Kuwait gas oil having 260~176 boiling range.
