摘要: Abstract SiO 2 nanoparticles without surface modification were used to prepare a polymer based nanocomposite: methyl methacrylate (MMA) was selected as the matrix, and copolymerized with small amount of cationic functional comonomer 2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyltrimethylammonium chloride (MTC). The aim is improve dispersion unmodified well interfacial adhesion through electrostatic interaction between positively charged copolymer matrix negatively fillers, ultimately mechanical properties. chemical structure P(MMA-co-MTC)/SiO characterized by 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance ( NMR). investigated zeta potential Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Meanwhile, morphologies synthesized microspheres studied scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in observed transmission (TEM). Finally, properties detail tensile fracture SEM. results indicate that, has been successfully situ suspension copolymerization, properties, especially flexural property, remarkably improved due better state stronger ameliorated interaction. When content MTC 10 wt% 1.0 wt%, respectively, optimal obtained: compared PMMA, strength increased 20.7% much 140.7%. whole process does not need modification, which makes this method more convenient less costly.
