摘要: To study the phylogenetic relationships between species of family Mustelidae, by using improved polymerase chain reaction-product direct sequencing technique, nucleotide sequences (375 bases) mitochondrial cytochrome b gene were determined on ten from five genera Mustelidae and three other carnivore families, all which are distributed in or around Japan. The molecular tree indicated a clear separation genera: Mustela Martes subfamily Mustelinae, Lutra Enhydra Lutrinae, Meles Melinae. This clustering agreed with previously reported morphological karyological taxonomy. Furthermore, intrageneric discussed more detail. is first report phylogeny throughout Japanese inferred DNA sequences.
