摘要: Abstract A novel scheme for variable optofluidic attenuator is proposed, by using the multi-bend waveguide structure, and combining with microfluidic channel filled fluid mixture. The optical performance of our proposed device numerically investigated beam propagation method. results show that not only large dynamic range low loss both TE TM mode input can be achieved, but dependence wavelength polarization weak in configuration. Moreover, has fabrication tolerance. provides an effective means manipulating attenuation, which useful applications photonic integrated system system.
