摘要: A first report on the feeding habits of a mainland population pine marten (Martes martes) in Italy is presented here. The winter food this carnivore Western Alps (altitude 1800-2500 m a.s.1.) described, using stomach analysis. Both volume and frequency occurrence different items were quantified. Mammals wild fruits represent main categories. presence small mammal species diet discussed.
