摘要: A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of wastewater on yield and heavy metal uptake alfalfa along with a tubewell irrigated crop as control at Agricultural University Peshawar during 2009. The in small plots (2 x 1m) replicated thrice fertilizer additions. either Hayatabad Industrial Estate (HIE) or water. data revealed that shoot dry weight significantly affected by irrigation water supplies higher recorded increase consistent time (different cutting). By comparing total biomass two treatments, it observed there about 37% over application wastewater. increased factor three times from first cutting third both treatment magnitude plots. much compared order Fe> Mn>Zn>Cu>Pb>Ni>Cr>Cd. Shoot analysis showed no toxicity because concentration less than phytotoxic level all metals were within permissible limits.
