摘要: Objective Patients presenting with poor-grade aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) have commonly been reported to a poor prognosis; however, several reports suggest favorable outcome in subgroup of patients. We analyzed our database identify factors determining functional after SAH. Methods During the period 2004–2014, 248 patients SAH were treated institution. Poor-grade was defined as World Federation Neurological Surgeons grades IV–V on admission. Data including patient characteristics, treatment modality, radiologic features, and neurologic assessed further analyzed. Outcome according modified Rankin Scale 6 months stratified into (modified score 0–2) versus unfavorable 3–6). A multivariate analysis performed predictors outcome. Results achieved 24% significantly younger ( P = 0.005), harbored smaller aneurysms 0.004), had lower initial grade 0.0009). On analysis, age, V, signs cerebral herniation, aneurysm size, presence space-occupying hematoma identified significant Conclusions severely ill Therefore, should not be omitted. Careful individualized decision making is necessary for each patient.
