摘要: Abstract Perturbation of metabolism with increased expression lipogenic enzymes is a common characteristic human cancers, including prostate cancer. In the present work overexpression stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) in LNCaP cells led to mRNA levels fatty acid synthase (FAS) and acetyl-CoA-carboxylase-α, whereas micro RNA-mediated silencing SCD inhibited these genes cells. Treatment FAS-specific inhibitor cerulenin induction cell proliferation. addition, transient transfection assay revealed capability suppress dihydrotestosterone androgen receptor transcriptional activity.
