摘要: Abstract Two new formulations of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) based three dimensional (3D) gel dosimeters have recently been developed with improved sensitivity to x-ray CT readout, one without any co-solvent and the other isopropanol co-solvent. The water equivalence NIPAM was investigated using different methods calculate their radiological properties including: density, electron number electrons per grams, effective atomic number, photon interaction probabilities, mass attenuation energy absorption coefficients, collisional, radiative total stopping powers scattering power. Monte Carlo modelling also used compare dose response these for kilovoltage megavoltage beams beams. We found that density free dosimeter are more equivalent less than a 2.6% difference compared 5.7% dosimeter. Both solvent lower numbers water, differing by 2.2% 6.5%, respectively. As result, photoelectric probabilities up 6% 19% from Compton pair production differ 10% while gel, differences 3%. Mass coefficients 7% Collisional both 2% those water. is (with
