摘要: In this paper several control strategies for nitrogen removal are proposed and evaluated in a benchmark simulation model of an activated sludge process. The goal is to determine which strategy delivers better performance with respect plant operating costs. the study, constant manipulated variables various PI feedforward tested compared predictive control, uses ideal process model. differ information used about (number sensors sensor location) complexity algorithms. To set-points that yield optimal costs, operational map constructed each strategy. Results show controllers almost same costs can be achieved as more advanced MPC algorithms under conditions. More advantageous only cases where highly loaded if stringent effluent fines imposed by legislation.
