摘要: The blood-brain barrier is a complex multiple site structure with both active and passive elements. Any methods used to study such system will always encounter number of limitations inbuilt errors. recent developments in pharmacology, immunology molecular biology have provided variety new techniques, which, conjunction the need for greater understanding brain pathology, given fresh impetus development barrier. However, it essential that interpretation data obtained from these underlying method complexity be kept mind. This especially critical when results are extrapolate vitro experiment whole animal or extrapolation man. In addition, kinetic constants parameters, which can quantify function been derived by different experimental methods, should subject appropriate mathematical transformation so compared between various species.
