摘要: Within the world of multimedia, several standards for content encoding and decoding exist. However, with current capabilities multimedia devices, only become more cumbersome. We explore how interactivity can be added to using a new upcoming standard, ISO/IEC 21000, better known as MPEG-21. The purpose MPEG-21 is create an open framework delivery consumption. This enables its users exchange, consume manipulate large variety in efficient, transparent interoperable way. paper introduces concept digital item processing, which allows functionality included feasibility approach proven by implementation demonstrator on J2ME platform. Time memory performance measurements are outlined demonstrate cost adding extra processing information when
